Whakapapa
Honouring Our Lineage

We are gathering the stories, names, and legacies of our tūpuna to create something lasting — both online and in print — for the whānau of Haami and Hārata Ripia.

Whanaunga Wikitree

Matua Robert Eagle Jr has set up our official Ripia Whanaunga Wikitree — a digital whakapapa tree to preserve and protect our connections across generations.

  • Record our ancestral lines

  • Connect whānau near and far

  • Build a shared legacy online

Historical records and taonga

We’re currently collecting photos, stories, and whakapapa details. If you have kōrero or images to share — even small fragments — they are deeply valued. Every name and memory helps us honour our tūpuna and ground the next generation.

Contact us at: ripiareunion2025@gmail.com with your contributions or any pātai (questions) about the process.
